Bustar Culberson
Guitar and Vocals
Bustar has been making music all of his life, solo and in bands, and has been with Stony Point for much of that time. When not out playing, you can find Bustar crafting songs, searching for new sounds and exploring tones. Bustar's is a "guitar-centric" lifestyle; his hobbies include building guitars and pedalboards to play them through. Ask him about what he's playing!
Karen Hicks
Acoustic Guitar and vocals
When she's not playing acoustic guitar and singing with Stony Point, you might find Karen engaged in any number of other musical tasks. She enjoys live sound engineering and recording, as well as performing with her bluegrass band Beautiful Bouquet, which is a tribute to the late, great California musical pioneer Rose Maddox.
Jason Uber
Drums and vocals
Jason Uber hails from Santa Rosa, CA and has been playing and performing professionally for over three decades. He is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, but his first love is, and always will be, drumming. Never failing to put the song first, Jason's drumming style encompasses discipline and restraint that tastefully displays rock-solid, pocket-focused grooves and impeccable timekeeping.
(Jason is a hopeless romantic, and loves coastal sunsets and fine cuisine from all corners of the globe. Jason is also a dynamite chef and avid reader.)
Marc Francis
Bass and vocals
Marc Francis is Stony Point's bass player. A founding member of the band, Marc also takes songwriting credit on a number of Stony Point original songs. Marc can also be seen playing upright bass with area bluegrass bands The Buckeye Boys and Beautiful Bouquet.
Jim Peterson
Guitar and vocals
Jim Peterson performed in Sonoma County as a musician and actor for over 45 years. He has played with many bands including Catalyst, Hut-Hut, Miss Kitty and the Big Dogs, The Shannon Rider Band and Tsonoma.
Jim was musical director and actor on many theater projects including Always, Patsy Cline, Hank Williams: Lost Highway, and Woody Guthrie: American Song among many others, and was nominated for a Bay Area Theater Critics Circle Award for music direction.
A founding member of Stony Point, Jim sadly lost his battle with cancer in November of 2025. We miss him dearly. His contributions to our band, indeed, our lives, cannot be overstated. Rest in Peace, friend.
